May 13 was our final set up and orientation day. The ice and snow has been slow to go this year so we had to do our set up in a few stages. This was the last day and, thanks to Adam Easton and Alberto Turi, the last of the targets were put up in Sheep Canyon. This took longer than expected and we had only two people show up for the orientation at noon. As a result, we had our BBQ lunch about 1 pm instead of 3 as we intended. Two big events this weekend. A great group of volunteers came out and we got most of the Grey Mountain archery range set up. The second event was the Yukon Indoor Archery Championships sponsored by the Yukon Aboriginal Sports Circle. The adult division was mostly Whitehorse Archery Club members. We all medalled because we almost all had our own category.
