Range put to bed for the Winter
Following a great end of season 3D tournament put on by Yukon Aboriginal Sports Circle (thanks Heidi Bob and all the officials in training) we packed the targets away for the winter. As you know, we lost our shed in July and we are using a tent garage loaned to us by Bill Curtis of Biathlon Yukon. With 40 animals spread over 80 acres, this is a big job. Thanks to Adam Easton and his truck and trailer, Wyatt and Warren Kapaniuk and his truck, Alan Hanson, and Phil Kristoff we got it all put away following the tournament.
We are hoping to be granted funding to rebuild in the spring but there are no guarantees. We certainly have a good start with a grant from Lotteries that replaced part of our equipment but we have a long way to go. Fingers crossed.
