Chekmate Bows

We have Chekmate bows for sale. These are handmade in Port Alberni, BC by excellent artisan and bowyer Marc Moriez. Using mostly yew in the limbs, he sources this wood locally. The risers are in a variety of fine hardwoods both local and exotic. The Beaver Pups and Beaver Creek are one piece, reflex deflex longbows. The Beaver Creek model is designed for heavier weights and longer lengths. All the bows are reflex deflex longbows.
The Falcon is a one-piece recurve bow.
You can have a custom bow made and we can help you with that. Waiting time is currently 4-6 months. Hey, he is basically a one man operation. Art takes time.
